Tequila is a 25-year-old sorrel Quarter Horse mare. She is the newest addition to SAVER, and has been working to claim the title as ‘Queen of the herd’. She was given the name Tequila due to her somewhat sassy personality. She is a sweet mare, although she is not very openly affectionate toward people. Tequila has a strong personality, and can be a bit pushy around people and other horses as she thinks she’s a queen, however once she realizes she needs to listen, she is respectful. She does well turned out with other horses, and seems to have made friends with all of the other horses at SAVER. Tequila is an older mare and is not 100% sound. She is halter broke, stands tied, and knows how to round pen. There will be more information about Tequila to come as we get to know her better.
